**RECENT UPDATE REGARDING OWNER OF SITE**

Recently the owner, Neil, has been admitted into permanent aged care from March 2023 due to ongoing health issues.

Through this difficult time, the family is volunteering inbetween their own life duties to assist with site updates, communications and products when possible.

Due to these circumstances, responses and fulfilments are still being posted but may be delayed at times and we thank you for your ongoing support and patience.

The family are looking to fulfil remaining stock of products in order to gradually close down the website in due time.

If you are interested in bulk enquiries please contact us via email at info@sunshinevolleysport.com.au

On this page we will offer to you all the news pertaining to Adidas Volleyball, Vinqui Jewellery or any of the other agencies that Sunshine Volleysport has to do with in Australia and believe me it is still growing. But we still have not reached "stage 2" as yet.

    Event Date 6/02/2021

After a long time of not putting our news here (and using Facebook only) I am going to use both and also we are after a distributor for our overseas products for New Zealand. For Ultra Ankle braces and Arm2 Aim Volleyball Sleeves.  Anyone interested please Neil Cocks on Facebook or at info@SunshineVolleysport.com.au We are also hoping for another brand to be available later on as well (currently in discussions).

Sunshine Volleysport is now getting back to basics.

    Event Date 26/06/2020

Rather than increasing our product range, today we are "getting back to basics" and deleting our footwear range and starting to increase our volleyball range, which is what we did to start off with. Rather than be like others and have so many goods that you need "Isle Numbers" to find things. I am just going to have the main things needed to play. Arm Sleeves, Ankle Braces and the Volleyball themselves. The next part will be deleting our Kneepad range.

Sunshine Volleysport is now the Australian & New Zealand distributor for Arm2Aim (Canada).
    Event Date 16/12/2019
The previous distributors thought Arm2Aim was so good that they made their own, with their inhouse brand on it, based on them which is high praise indeed. Whereas we will just expand the range instead. Afterall Arm2Aim was the original and the best, and are easily cheaper than the "copies" so why bother, unless that is  ... if you wanted to put your own personal brand on them I suppose.

Sunshine Volleysport is now the Australian distributor for Mikasa KOB (King of the Beach).
    Event Date 20/09/2019
Most people think that KOB (King of the Beach) just does Beach Volleyballs, but there is a lot more to it, as in towells, hats and caps, stainless Steel coffee cups, Volleyball Wall Clocks, etc. Australia will soon see. We would supply all retailers who are interested in Beach Volleyball here in Australia, Including places such as Elson Volley, Australian Volleyball Warehouse, Oz Volley, etc. Unfortunately they have been set back to 2020 to supply into Australia.

Sunshine Volleysport is now the Australian Distributor for Lenwave Brand products.

Sunshine Volleysport is now the largest Overseas Distributor for Ultra Ankle in the world.
    Event Date 20/02/2019
It has just occured to me that Sunshine Volleysport is the biggest overseas distributor for Ultra Ankle products in the world, and I am very honoured to be. I am not getting a "big head" or anything and realise that I have a long way to go with the rights here in Australia as we just have the most products (outside of the USA) but have a long way to go on the sales side of things though.

Sunshine Volleysport has entered a submission for being the Australian distributor for Mikasa KOB (King of the Beach).
    Event Date 8/01/2019
Most people think that KOB (King of the Beach) just does Beach Volleyballs, but there is a lot more to it, as in towells, hats and caps, stainless Steel coffee cups, Volleyball Clocks, etc. We have entered a submission for the Australian rights. If we win, we would supply all retailers who are interested in Beach Volleyball here in Australia, Including places such as Elson Volley, Australian Volleyball Warehouse, Oz Volley, etc.

Sunshine Volleysport is now the Australian distributor for Proteam.
    Event Date 21/12/2018
Proteam was a manufacturer for Tachikara Japan, which was well known in Volleyball circles for the VollleyLite "the be and all of light weight volleyballs" as well as other general volleyballs distributed by Tachikara. Well now we are their distributors for Australia. We will continue this tradition of quality volleyball products being supplied into Australia. This time not just with one light volleyball, but with four of them (3 specific Indoor and 1 for Outdoors). More products will be coming in 2019.

Sunshine Volleysport to return to its core area of Import / Wholesale.
    Event Date 21/12/2018
I have decided go back to our main area of business of Import / wholesale as we could stomach the untruths that were constantly being told of some porducts being "approved" when they were in fact only being "inspected" and unfortunately for the customers there is a BIG difference between the two. First Elson got in the "Allrounder" and now AVW has gotten their "spikelight". But we feel that the end customer is not getting a good deal out of these products. Sooner or later people will wake up to the Allrounder being not a good enough volleyball (when it is advertised for use in Netball and soccer as well).  And I think that they may have already.

Product lines to add outside Volleyball first product to be futsal balls.
    Event Date 19/05/2018
With every business there are selling lines and the ones that may not so much. To make up for this Sunshine Volleysport need to introduce other product lines outside of Volleyball, the product line will be an old favourite of ours from our Mikasa Days, the Futsal ball. We are getting in a small number to try first and then go from there. What brand I hear you say ? Molten of course. I see that these days the Mikasa FSC-62 (which I sold for $17.50) the Queensland Distributor for Mikasa is selling for $45.00 each. More on the price the closer we get to having them on hand.

Quantity prices on our Volleyball items compared to our competitors.
    Event Date 29/04/2018
We at Sunshine Volleysport have for a long time tried to better our prices than our competitors (and have done so), unfortunately our website does not allow us to put in different quantity prices. So we are now telling you directly that we will beat any reasonable price quoted (in writing or on the internet) on the same branded goods that we have in stock.

With different braces for different needs, with none of them incorporating a lace up system.

    Event Date 27/02/2018

New web page opened to deal with FIVB Volleyball Approvals.
    Event Date 24/02/2018

No Warrnambool stall this year.
    Event Date 5/02/2018
For the most part I most of the time only brought into Australia during my tenure at Mikasa the MVA200 the MVA300, and the MVA330, I sold very little of the MVA310 style Volleyballs. So now that I am just another volleyball store I had no thoughts at all about stocking the MVA330 Balls, let alone the MVA310. I was going to show the new balls at the Warrnambool Seaside Tournament but now due to the setting up of a bar, my stall will not be there this year. So now I am open to getting the MVA330 if asked for, if not then I won't get any of the MVA330 into stock.

Back to basics.
    Event Date 13/01/2018
For ten years I imported the Mikasa Sports Ball range, but all I am after now (because I am back to just being a Volleyball Store) is the two top Indoor Volleyballs (the MVA200 and the MVA300). Next comes the Molten range of Beach and Indoor Volleyballs. Hold on that is one brand to many (too many as far the other stores are concerned, that is), but no I intend on doing even more not just because they are different brands, but because they produce different balls, different in design and colour. We will be having some sample volleyballs in soon (Warrnambool Seaside Tournament in fact).

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
    Event Date 24/12/2017
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all. This year was hard, but we are hoping that we will be able to build on the foundations that have been laid to be built upon in 2018. Now that we have gotten the brands we wanted after a lot of uncertainty this year, next year will be a year of consolidation and growth. Where we will again show the volleyball community that we are the ones to look to for quality and price.

Sunshine Volleysport will soon be stocking Molten Indoor and Beach Volleyballs.
    Event Date 24/10/2017

Sunshine Volleysport will no longer be supplying Indoor Volleyball Shoes.
    Event Date 20/10/2017
As of today it has been decided that we will no longer sell Indoor Volleyball Shoes, this does not mean that Sunshine Volleysport will be closing down, the complete opposite in fact, we will be expanding our Indoor and Beach Volleyball ball area, as well as others such as the kneepads, etc. But in the mean time no reasonable offer will be refused on our shoe ranges until sold out.
